POSTED: Wednesday, February 28, 2018 | 2:45 pm

The Varsity Girl's Basketball team took on the WC Miller Aces in the zone semi final with only 6 players the girls knew they would have their work cut out for them.  The Aces came out hot going on a 14-1 run.  The Sabres battled back putting the game at reach just before half. In the second half the Sabres came on fire with some adjustments, with Mackenzie Bruce and Cameryn Johnson hitting 2 three point shots a piece. The Sabres got as close as 7 points but couldn't take the lead. Throughout the entire game the girls played with pride, and determination and great attitudes. Cameryn and Mackenzie played their last game as Sabreswith so much pride and heart and were outstanding examples for their teammates. Great job to all team members on an outstanding season. Best of luck graduating players, Novalee Vidal, Mackenzie Bruce, Cameryn Johnson and Halle Oswald.
