Although the JV Badminton team planned to start the season last night in Carman, a power outage resulted in most events being cancelled. Only the girls doubles and boys singles events remained. After exciting round robin play and winning records, all Sanford players advanced to the playoffs! Congrats to Jackson Wilson on an incredible 2nd place tournament finish and to the dynamic and powerful duo of Abby Kirkness and Ava Hamilton who remained undefeated throughout, taking home the 1st place fruit basket in girls doubles. Delicious. Way to go Sabres!
